Mula or Radish is something that is not liked by many due to its spicy taste. However, Radish has many health benefits – It helps in blood purification, helps cleanse the stomach and liver, improves immunity and many more. So, if you don’t like to eat Radish raw, you can try making Mulyachi Koshimbir (Radish Salad).
Mulyachi Koshimbir
A quick and easy salad.
Servings 2 people
Ingredients
- 1 Medium sized Radish grated
- 2 Tbsp Curd
- 1 Chopped green chilly
- Chopped Coriander
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 5-6 Curry Leaves (Kadipatta)
- 1 Tbsp Ghee
- 1 Tsp Jeera/Cumin
- 1 Pinch Hing
Instructions
- Grate the radish and squeeze the water. Take it in a bowl and add curd, salt and sugar. Mix well.
- Heat the ghee in a Tadka pan and add hing and jeera. When the jeera crackles, add green chilli and curry leaves. Pour this tadka over the Koshimbir mixture and mix well. Add coriander and mix. Serve chilled.
Notes
You can even add one teaspoon soaked moong dal to the koshimbir to enhance the flavor.
