Traditionally, gul and khobra (Jaggery and Coconut) are offered to Ganpati as Prasad. One of my aunt had once made Modak using this combination and I liked the idea a lot. Here I have made Ladoo using the same combination.
Gul-Khobra (Jaggery and Coconut) Ladoo
A sweet Prasad - offering - for Ganpati Bappa.

- 1 Cup Grated dry
- 1 Cup Grated jaggery Using grated jaggery helps mixing the ingredients easy.
- 1 Tbsp Cardamom Powder
- Dry roast the grated coconut and set aside to cool.
- Add jaggery and cardamom powder to the dried coconut.
- Mix all the ingredients well and make Ladoos. I have made 21 ladoos here as that is the number that is traditionally offered.
I opted the easy way and made Ladoo. You could make Modak too.
